There are two things wrong with your reply. One, I'm entitled to my opinion and if I feel the need to state it, then I will, regardless of how you feel. Here's the thing, people have wanted this. We've been asking for it for 2 years, and now Nintendo has decided to deliver. People are happy about this, so we give Nintendo our money. It's not some far-fetched ploy to convince us to part with it, because the fanbase is pretty much the one that came up with the idea. Nintendo can't take our money, because it's just too easy these days to dig up an illegal rom for free. We continue paying out of respect for Nintendo because we like this and want more.
So I'm sorry you feel that way about the franchise, but your comment has undertones of calling the entire Pokemon fanbase stupid and personally I don't appreciate it. I'd recommend choosing your words more carefully next time you complain about something.
I'm so tired of all these Pokemon games. They're milking the series for all that it's worth. Now that they've run out of new color names, they're making remakes...with even more names. What's next, Pokemon Rasperry or Pokemon Lime-Green Magenta? xD

*damn it* if they DO make the GBA obsolete, then will they sell the games REALLLY cheap????? because THEN and ONLY then can I buy all the Pokemon games that I've been too broke/lazy to replace! But on the bright side, now I at least have a reason to buy a DSi!

This is like, the one generation I might bother to buy both versions of, I love it so much.
Fond memories of Crystal still abound. Chasing Suicune, beating Gyms, cloning Pokemon (yeah, I cheated,) Friday Night Lapras, etc.
I suppose the cloning glitch will be fixed, but I've learned to make due without it since. Johto is definitely the region I have the fondest memories of.
Actually I freaking need to get through Diamond first. THEN I have to go through Platinum... not to mention buy Fire Red, Leaf Green and whatever the heck else to "Catch 'em all"
