I would totally love a remake of the entire game and just put all pokemon in the game XD also, include all of the characters featured in all of the games so far *_____* I would totally buy that, even if it was like 50-60 dollars or something. :DDDD and I'd get a DS if the game was for the DS XD they could do sooooo many things with a remake-- like putting back Ash and Pikachu in the game or leave that as a special. :o SO MANY THINGS, I wish I could just storm in there-- speak professional Japanese and tell them what to do to make the "final" game EPIC. *shot millions of times*
P.S. the Elite Four would be recalled the Elite Championship Tournament *shot again*

Perhaps, most likely not. We'll be able to make a better guess at a title when the legendary pokemon are revealed, it always has something to do with them..well, with exception to G1.
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a next generation, there are 700+ as of now, I'm surprised they haven't run out of ideas yet. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm glad they haven't, we could use more dragon types ^^ Salamence just isn't cutting it anymore.
I heard that Opal was a speculative name for the special version of D/P, which turned out to be Platinum (because Giratina's name is supposedly derived from Opal, or something like that). Most likely the releases will be remakes, which should be fun, I mean frlg was awesome! (hoping for Stunning Silver, Glorious Gold <it sounds cool, you know it!>)
But, on the off chance that it IS the next generation, it wont be named after a gem, the special versions after Yellow have started a new name theme (Crystal started the gems) so the next gen will probably be named after metals.

Hm...Well that's odd. I thought the new game "Opal" (is that how you spell it?) wasn't supposed to come out...holy crap it is almost my senior year?! Well then, yes, I think it's supposed to be this one called, don't quote me, just going from rumors.

By the way, if this really is a remake, I will flip my friggin' lid if they cut the Communication Center again.
