well, it is CHINA we're talking about. this doesn't surprise me, that's what happens when u rule with communism. i wouldn't be suprised if they ban anime and video games all together because it "taints" the mind.
I can see both pros and cons in this registration system. For the majority of people it will be a needlessly invasive system. For a small population it will be helpful (incase of something illegal or incase of children needing monitored, etc). I think overall it's quite unfortunate that peoples privacy will be invaded.
