There is no way I could ever get behind the
western redrawn anime/manga thing, it actually
made me gag... Vash was almost cool, but something
just wasn't there for me.. Just my opinion though..
I looked at the Americans-draw-anime article and the only one I really thought worked was McFarlane's Trigun. Some of the others weren't bad, but I don't know. The Death Note one was right out; I don't much care for those soap opera-style comics.
The western adaptions of anime characters were really clever. The Disney version of Cowboy Bebop made me laugh. (By the way, the link isn't active in that article.)
Thanks for the reports on the Sailor Moon fan project. I've been following them on Tumblr ever since the initial report.
So there's a new manga called The Seven Deadly Sins? Is that a thing now in manga?

Also, I believe the first mangaka's name under the "7th Manga Taisho Awards Presented" is actually "Kaoru Mori".
