Cropping and adding borders is just a pain :/ If a wallpaper is designed under a certain resolution, there's probably a reason to it.
Nope. 1366x768 is just another size to work with if you so choose. It's a bit longer than the standard widescreen size, being 16:9 rather than 16:10. Whenever I make them, I crop off the top and bottom and see how it looks. Rarely do I have to tweak it, except for when text is involved in those spots.
Never even heard of that resolution before. But, I will see if I can upload some old wallpapers into it and try to remember this size for my new ones. I already download wallpaper for all sizes anyway - so this addition shouldn't be too dificult for me.

Oh yeah, I know this size. Not the one that I use, but it is well common, especially for today's standards and big monitors that people have (like LCD TVs lol).

Primarily notebooks, but the 1366 x 768, now that HD is more popular and spreading, has become the new standard replacing 1024 x 768. I understand it also has to do with preserving the quality of the image for HD.
That seems like such a weird resolution :/ But oh well, I guess if it's the most common it should be the most created, I'll get right on converting some of my wallpapers so the new resolution isn't completely empty~
