G Kids is not only a distributor but is also partly (or entirely, I'm not really sure) responsible for the NY International Children's Film Festival. The website is actually a pretty cool place to learn about animated films (shorts and features) from around the world. Check out the shorts if you've got time.

Your dynamic seems pretty good to me. It's not a dislike towards anyone, just a familiarity with Batou's presence. And yeah, since I'm pretty much back from my *ahem* 4 year absence, you can expect to see me more often.

It wouldn't be too surprising they picked up Spirited Away since that'd be quite a bit of money. I hope they show these in a theature close to where I live! It'd be so awesome to see these in theatures! =)

As far as manga goes, my most recent purchase was the 1st volume of 'Kimi ni Todoke' a month ago. I don't buy manga so much as I borrow it from my local library. And I really miss Shojo Beat magazine.

I have a couple friends who've gotten into doing martial arts or kendo. I fenced a little in college, but I'm not particularly athletic or coordinated so I prefer to watch such things.
