Nintendo is about to undertake one of the fastest, most drastic price cuts in recent gaming history following a disastrously bad second quarter for hardware sales - especially for its newest handheld, the 3DS.
Man, I should have waited. :| Oh well, I don't regret getting it and pre-ordering Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim on the same day, it's still not a bad system but yeah, $250 seemed to be too much for it.

I am SO excited. I still have a classic DS and knew something like this was going to hit the shelves, but I was on the fence because of the price, like I suppose most people were.

Don't forget the other part of this news; people who purchased a 3DS before the price drop will get 20 free games from the eShop. 10 free NES games and 10 free GBA games.

Sucks for NIntendo, but I will take advantage of this price cut. A thing like this doesn't happen everyday.
