There's a fine line concerning what's 2D and what's reality, and I believe that man just crossed way over that line.
I also have to put my two cents in and say that I don't think it's the anime's fault for turning him onto child pornography. I think this person probably already had some preexisting issues to begin with. I believe it's the person's responsibility to understand that what they are watching is a complete work of fiction and should not be reenacted or sought out in reality.
Just because I watch a show like Kodomo no Jikan does not mean I'm going to be a future pedophile. Just because I watch a show like Elfen Lied does not mean I'm going to become a psychotic murderer. People who do these things that are supposedly based off of anime usually already have something bonkers going on with them.
It seems that it was actually child porn at the end, though looking for anime porn lead him to that...
And he has been saving them on family laptop which also his wife uses?! That guy had some problems...
the way all these new high school dramas are going (other than a handful) it might as well all be considered porn with all the pantsu showing.
shota/loli are okay by me. Child pornography isn't. Theres a srss difference there. Real people honestly look nothing like anime characters.
If this is accurate: article then it seems that learning he was watching anime porn lead to them finding pornographic pictures of real kids on this guys computer. =/
