Yeah, they screwed it up big time. It was heavily edited, this being a prime, if not the most infamous example.
If it's the plot you didn't like, then I can't guarantee you'll like the subbed version either, but it's definitely worth trying at least. Again, it was mostly the edits that killed the dub, so.

If it's just the subbed version wouldn't it still be the same? ...-_- or did they screw it all up when the dubbed it? Oh and thank you for telling me about the subbed version ^^ I want to see if it’s better.
Judging by the fact that you used the dub name, I'm assuming you were unfortunate enough to only see the dubbed version of the last season. If that's the case, give the subbed version(aka Digimon Savers) a shot- it's so much better than "Data Squad".

Yeah, I liked the look of Savers as a change of pace, but it's nice to know they're going back to the older style.
Also the new kid has goggles. Awesome as I thought Masaru was, I definitely felt those were missing.

There have been rumors for about half a year now, so I'm glad it's been confirmed finally. I'll be looking forward to it, longtime fan that I am.
