Adult Swim likes to have a buffer between the Japanese and US air dates, so that they can speed Dub and get Johnny Yong Bosch's lines all done at once.
So My moneyz on a tittle that's finished airing or has a 200-something episode head start. Most likely SoulEater or D.Gray-Man have a good shot, though I would love to see Claymore, OnePiece, Darker Than Black, or more "Case Closed".
Actually I'm not sure what to think anymore since Sci~Fi got their hands on Gundam-00, Gurren Lagann, and Monster. Sy-Fy could call dibs on more awesome stuffz.

So that's what happened to Blood+. But I'm not sorry about Death Note; I think we've all seen it quite enough times now. Heck, I haven't even watched Adult Swim the past couple weeks cause all they're doing is reruns of Bleach and FMA and then a huge set of DN. What the heck happened to GiTS at least?
I have all of the astroboy episodes on VHS... the 1950s ones... My mother gave them to me, they used to be hers... It would be nice if [as] would bring that back :D
I'm fairly certain they already shot themselves in the foot pretty bad back when they started pretending Squidbillies was a good show.
Crossing my fingers for Brotherhood. It'll give me reason to haunt my sister's DVR again, which I have not had since Monk ended and Venture Brothers went into reruns for the rest of the season.

Speaking of old favorites, remember when Adult Swim included "Astro Boy (1960s black-and-white series), "Voltron, Defender of The Univerese", and "Gigantor"? Well, Adult Swim could try to include "Robotech", "Star Blazers" (which is dubbed and edited from "Space Batlleship Yamato"), or "Gatchaman" since Anime oldies in today's time seem to appeal more to the adults.
is it just me, or is this post sounding very much like how Toonami was going before it went away?
idk what they plan to show, but we seriously need to get back some of the old favorites, like tenshi muyo and such. maybe more cowboy bebop and ghost in teh shell at different times.
lets just hope that it ends up better than toonami did....

I think it would be interesting to put FMA: Brotherhood on there and most definately Inuyasha.... with how they ended the season before was just crap lol... so yes I agree that [as] should bring those... *crosses fingers*
Mmm, I was kinda wondering why Adult Swim was showing 4 episodes of Death Note instead of the usual 1. I just figured they were trying to hurry up and finish it (which I guess is what they were doing). Can't wait to see what new anime they'll get though. :D
