I'm not too worried about a musical. From the few musicals I've glimpsed on Youtube (Kuroshitsuji and the Bleach Rock Musicals) I know Japan can actually pull it off.
In relation to this news nugget, Anime News Network reported last month that a new manga series temporarily titled Code Geass: Shikkoku no Renya (Code Geass: Jet-Black Renya or Code Geass: Renya of the Blackness) is set to be released this year as part of the New Code Geass Project.
