    @Ace:

    My guess is that the sensor will be something to the effect of an accelerometer, so that it will be able to tell the tilt at which the player is holding it.

    But otherwise I agree; I'm not hoping for much, and mostly I just plead that Nintendo doesn't make something gimmicky that forces the DS2 into an awkward position (like forcing you to set it down, etc.)

    I'd rather see in shades of gray.

    That guy who married the video game character a couple Nugget pages ago, naturally.

    @DemonKingAtticus:

    To be fair, the train was probably the biggest pain in the ass that game had to offer. Other than that, it was a huge improvement over Phantom Hourglass. Not that the train itself was a bad concept. It was actually pretty fun for most of the game. Up until you get to those unkillable blue demon trains that you cannot dodge because you're on a rail.

    But yeah, you're right. I'm not gonna get my hopes up, mostly because I can't picture this working right after playing Wario Ware: Snapped!, which uses the DSi's camera and requires you to put the system down in order to work, thereby rendering the device no longer handheld. Still, I'll save final judgment until I see this thing in action.

    I dunno. I was one of those skeptics who thought having a train in Zelda might ruin it. While that might be comparing apples to oranges, let's just hope that it's a gimmick that doesn't suck.

    So that's why the motion sensing is so important ...

    I just saw this on screwattack earlier, and I love the DS but... motion sensing on a handheld? Is that necessary?

    Motion sensing handheld? I'll stick with the DS kthx.

    Normally I'd be optimistic about Nintendo's new frontiers. After all, the DS is pretty frickin' awesome. However, this is a totally new direction entirely and, well, their track record for those isn't exactly unblemished.

    Given the game-related violence lately, it should also come with a setting to choose how long you can play at a time and a 911-notification system.
