Well it was released back in 2000. Almost 10 years ago now.
I could go on about pre-Final Fantasy VII but I'd probably bore some of the younger people on this site (and make a few enemies). They'd probably not know much about any in the series that are 2D! XD

This isn't the first time a non-old Cid has been made, though it is a first in the main series. Chocobos, Moogles, and Cid make Final Fantasy just that. ^_^
I'm still hemming and hawing on this game personally. I just have too much of a soft spot for the older ones. Especially FF IX.
Well, it's nice to see a little change from the usual old guy redesign. Just as long as he still has the ability to swear in ways that can make a sailor blush and has something to do with an airship, because otherwise, FAIL, SQUARE.
