Eh, they're an organization that is at the very least getting people to think about things that they normally wouldn't (i.e. where fast-food comes from, etc.), so I say good for them. They are introducing controversy, and stimulating people's thoughts, so I'm happy they exist.
What PETA doesn't tell you is that instead of saving the millions of animals that go to their shelter, they spend the donations that come from pet owners on things like advertisements for scaring little kids away from drinking milk.
And, the chairman of PETA admitted to purchasing a $9,000 dollar walk in freezer, so that after they euthanized the animals that they could have found homes for, they could store them in the freezer.
