I save the chess metaphors for Code Geass (though don't most people? XD), so you won't see any in Clockwork. None of "If the king doesn't lead, how can he expect his subordinates to follow?".
I'm glad you saw that my style is really relaxed and down-to-earth. Most people just say "Wow, great story~" and move on. But it's because of that style that you won't get any pompous phrases or complicated jargon. I always keep in mind "Other people are going to read this, so I should keep it easy and interesting."
