Absolutely spot-on characterisation. I also love how readers will probably start thinking "oh no, they're not ACTUALLY going to... aww, they're NOT going to?!" Bwahaha . . .
I just died a thousand wonderful fangirl deaths. Loved this, and not just because of its Revy-on-top deliciousness. One of the things that struck me the most, actually, was Benny's line ("That doesn't sound healthy"). It was so.... characteristic, for lack of a better word. And to achieve that for the kind of character who can't be as easily or flamboyantly described as--oh, I dunno, Shenhua or someone--is pretty impressive.
