16: Oh yes, lots of pink. Hearing you say that does kind of make me want to return to it in the future, though... not because of the color pink (it's not one of my favorites), but just so I can see how much pink I can cram in there XD

Day 15: Naval oranges on a banana boat = COOLNESS! I'm diggin' the swimming pigs, too. Really funny!

Day 16: The Chomp poodle is brilliant. I know you did it in black and white, but I can picture it in color. Lots of pink.

13: Yep, Gen III. Gallade came in during Gen IV, I believe, as a male-only evolution.

14: The original line is actually: "They told me that if I ever turned this flashlight on, I WOULD DIE. They told me that about everything!" Wheatley's a robot of sorts, a bit on the jumpy side, and that "they told me that if X, I would die" line has been tossed around a bit at my house XD With different things for the X.

Yeah, they're pretty clever (and a little mind-bendingly frustrating at times, but that's the nature of puzzle games for ya).

Thanks; there's actually at least two different shades of blue there, so I wanted to try and replicate that with my limited supply of marker colors XD And while it does light up, that's actually Wheatley's eye. It's actually kind of amazing how much emotion the game programmers and animators could get out of him considering how little they had to work with (motion, eyelids, some moving parts, and the voice clips).

Day 12: EPCOT!!!!! I haven't been there since I was 12. I liked that imagination ride with the little dragon. And the jumping water where I'd get myself soaked on purpose. I didn't appreciate the countries part as much back then as I probably would now. And now for a joke: EPCOT = Every Person Comes Out Tired.

Day 13: I'm kind-of familiar with this Pokemon. Don't know much about it. Gen III, right?

Day 14: I totally don't get the joke 'cause I've never played the Portal games. They sound really clever, though. I think you did a good job with this one. I like that you used a couple shades of blue for the light (?), but didn't fill it all in, leaving little white areas.

Thanks; the funny thing is that I found the pencil shortly before drawing the picture, so I think that really influenced my decision to use it ^_^U

Huh... for some reason, I can't recall ever having thought to put up a "do not disturb" sign for this sort of thing.

Those multicolor pencils are really cool. Nice way to spice up the picture.

When I lived at home, I was a hide-in-my-room sort of person, too. I'd often have the door closed. Thinking back, I should have put up one of those "do not disturb" signs, too. Heh, heh.

Thanks :D "Somebunny"... cute XD Of course, though, saying that to his face might be a bad idea :) He doesn't like being called a bunny for some reason (odd considering he knows he's cute and would milk that for all it's worth XD) He's called himself a "rabbit" before, but his preferred term is actually "lagomorph" XD But considering the teeth, I wouldn't be surprised if there was some shark in his lineage somewhere (note: this is just joke-based conjecture and is not meant to be truth or a substitute for it XD).

Yeah, I knoooow... >_< I now need to work on day 11 XD At least it's just a "post no sooner than X date" and not a "no later than X date", right? :)

Max turned out great even though I don't know who he is. Drawing somebody (somebunny?) sitting in perspective like that is kinda hard. At least I think so.

I can't believe June is almost over! I gotta get my rear in gear, too. I have ideas for days 9 and 10, but I haven't drawn them yet.

6) Yeah, he can dish it, but he can't take it XD I need to work more on his character, but he's mostly just talk. Orenji's come to expect this of him so she tries to not let it bug her, especially because she's also technically his "mom" having crocheted him.

7) Thanks :D This one was a LOT of fun to draw, and it actually didn't take me very long to finish it :D

8) Yep :D It's Japanese for "orange", the fruit. She actually started as my player character in Animal Crossing, but I guess I liked her design enough to turn her into an OC. Oh, and her dress is yellow with white polka dots. The little jacket is white.

9) Thanks :D I think the proportions turned out pretty good, as well as the right hand (the left one's just buried in the popcorn bowl balanced on her belly XD Sorry, I wanted to say "stomach" but I couldn't resist the alliteration with all those 'B's)

GAAAAA! I forgot to comment on days 6 and 7. I'll do that now.

Day 6: That toy bunny is so mean! But I think his expression is funny. Poor Orenji.

Day 7: I like what you did with this one. Leaving some of the areas white on the mermaid's hair and tail makes for a nice, shiny effect. That, and I like how you can see her body submerged in the water.

Day 8: It dawned on me that Orenji sounds like "orange". Is her hair the reason you gave her that name? Also, what color is her dress?

Day 9: Nice pose. I agree that you should add more to it someday.

Lol i feel the same way, its like this challenge has created a lot of ideas I'd like to see redone in full :D

Thank you! :D I think ambition is a key part of learning any language, and with free resources online for basic language learning, you can learn Japanese too :D No time like the present to start learning. It just takes commitment and drive if you're not taking a class (but those things are important for class settings, too, of course ^_^U)

That's interesting. Another part of the reason I did marker and pencil instead of digital was because I need to play catchup here ^_^U

Day 4: Your handwriting looks so good. I wish I knew Japanese so I could write random stuff in it.

You kind of did what I'm doing (only in reverse). I'm trying to do a digital version of my first submission.

Day 5: Tomirou has a great expression. Yeah, his arm is a bit off, but as I said, the drawings don't have to be perfect.

Thanks :) Actually, the shorts are gray in color, his hair is silver, and his skin is really pale, so he just naturally looks washed out. Poor guy needs to get more sun XD

I like the shirt. I think that's my favorite part of the picture. The vest looks good, too. The rest of the colors look a little washed out. But that could just be your scanner.
