if you look up some instructions online,I'm sure you will find it. I am sorry, maybe if you send me screen shots of what happens I could help you. does an error message pop up, or does it just not run?
Indeed it is free. I had it for a while. it will nag you to buy it after a 40 day trial, but it doesn't do anything about it, and you can keep it. :) I got rid of SAI when I got photoshop, to make room on my hard drive.
