For kita mikichi's 'Shounen-Shoujo Swap' challenge.

It sounded like a fun challenge so I tried it. And it was a challenge.

I was going to do a shounen anime to shoujo...then I realized...I don't watch/read any shounen anime/manga....'orz

So instead I chose to make a shounen version of my favourite shoujo, Seiyuu Ka-!

If Seiyuu Ka-! were a shoujo it would probably be more about cats and secret identities. So I made Hime and Shiro have cat ears because they'd have cat personas or something...? Well...I could see Shiro being like a secret cat action hero, and whenever Hime puts on her glasses she turns into Shiro.

Then we have Kudou Senri, king of cats, being like a rival or something and be all mysterious, holding the secret to...something...

Like in most shounen...XD I don't know...'orz

I tried to make it look action-y and shounen. Bright colours, simplified faces.

The story of Seiyuu Ka-! is really about (summary taken from Baka-Updates):

Kino Hime is a 15 year-old girl who just started her first year in a high school for voice actors (Seiyuu) called Hiiragi Academy. She dreams of becoming the voice of the main character in one of the most popular series in Japan, "Magic Fighter Lovely Blazers". The academy is the number one school which allows students to make their voice acting debuts and also includes other departments such as general education, sports, music, acting, and art.

Of course this Academy is full of celebrities, too. Two of Hime's upperclassmen are none other than the two rising idols of the group "Idol Unit AQUA".

But Hime's dream is hard to fulfill. Her voice is not really suitable for a voice actress and her new classmate Kudou Senri doesn't waste time in pointing that out. Will Hime prove everybody, especially Senri, what she is capable of despite the first appearance?

It's written by Maki Minami, the same mangaka for Special A. It's a really awesome manga!

When I was drawing this...the biggest challenge...was trying to figure out what colours they were...I mean, what the heck!? Maki Minami-san changes their colours every new picture. I've seen some where Hime has brown hair, then dirty blonde, then bright blonde. Then with Shiro I've seen from brown hair, to blonde hair, to white hair. Though Hime usually has brown eyes I've seen pictures of Kudou Senri with brown eyes and some with green eyes...;m; WHAT!? WHAT COLOURS ARE THERE?

So I did my best guess...'orz

And as you can see I do not know how to draw cats so please do not look at them...;orz
