This is by far one of the most creative pieces of artwork I've ever seen submitted by anyone! This is exactly what I've been talking about: Artistic innovation, thinking outside the box and creating something completely original! This is why you're my artistic role-model, Lindsey-chan! ^_^ *HUG!* I'll start with what's probably the most apt choice of subjects considering the idea used here: Namely, the ears. It's near impossible to draw an accurate yet appealing ear-interior (at least for artists like me Y_Y). Yet, you've done so in something different from a normal ear. The ears look clean and genuinely Elvin (sp?). The other features on the characters look incredible as well. All four hands are perfect (as is expected from EAMR ~_'), and the bodily proportioning is beyond substantial. I'm particularly impressed (yes, I know I'm "particularly impressed" with a LOT of things in your artwork XD Sorry if I'm sounding like a broken record) with hair textures in this piece, especially Yuki's. His hair looks genuinely like soft, Elfish hair, and it's physics look spot-on for how hair reacts wit the wind. I'd also like to say that you did a great job in the concept for Yuki's hair; the pony-tail being an excellent and well-executed idea. The physics of Ayame's hair looks great to, but I would suggest some thought on braid-design. The braided locks look great, but the braids themselves don't look quite...well, like braids. (Am I making ANY sense?) The clothing and the colors used where-in are a sight to behold as well. The choice of blues for Yuki's shall...er, tunic...or whatever that is he's wearing, complement his over-all design and color-scheme better then anything else that could have been done. The grays in the shirt below it add even more to this effect. The folds in the afore mentioned clothing are also INCREDIBLE! The bow Yuki's holding looks great as well. I love the gold on top of the blue combination in the bow's mid-section. However, the upper and lower sections of the bow look vacant when compared to the elegant design the mid-section has. The bow achieves symmetrical physical balance, but not a visual balance. (Sorry, I know my suggestions sound awkward, but I'm trying my best to say what could use improvement so you can improve your future work. ^_^'). But regardless, Ayame's sword looks spectacular. Despite it's curve, it still looks more like a solid European blade rather then the curved (and fairly ugly) Turkish swords. The wooden base on the sword is unlike any I've ever seen before (you're just sooooooo original!!! ^.^). Its texture looks like actual solid but smoothed wood, glossy and refined into an effective weapon handle. Its engravings are intricate, and the metallic texture of the blade looks very real, particularly at the bottom. I must also say that Ayame's color-scheme is spectacular as well. The browns, rusty oranges and pale/darkened yellows compliment each other so well! Ayame's grayed hair and deep skin-tone also add to this (the ear-ring was a great idea, by the way). Finally, I've got to say I love the background. Well, I love the beautiful purples, blacks and blues used in the sky, as well as the general idea for the BG, but in my honest (and humble) opinion the pink wisps sort of detract from the overall design. They look beautiful and all, but they make the sky above the characters feel cluttered and busy. I think a few less wisps or even the simple royal-purple skyline would have been fine. But, even with those minor flaws, you still managed to make it look great! I'm EXTREMELY impressed with this piece, Lindsey. I just can't believe how original it is, yet how uncomplicated the concept is. This is just so fresh and innovative! *HUG* I can't wait for what you have in store for the future, Lindsey-chan! ^_^

That is one awesome peace of art! The profiles are perfect and the clothing is perfect. You are so good. I am really glad I have you as a friend. Not for your popularity, but for your art. It is really inspiring. The shading is awesome. I like everything about your drawing. Everything fits perfecty with the backround, which, by the way, looks awesome!! How did you do the backround?? I know it says acrilic paint, but how did you get the idea for the backround and how did you mix the colors so well?? Anyway, I am taking up a lot of room. I will stop now. I love it, I love the contrasts, and your right they make good elves. ^_^ I'm really impressed! Especially with the bows... The only thing I notice wrong is if Ayame's hair is blowing to the east(supposing they're facing east/west) Shouldn't yuki's hair be doing the same? Oh well, still love it!
