Very nice. I like your use of use of value to give your charecter a 3D effect and to help accent the change in distance. My only suggestion is to try paralel lines to shade, closer if its darker, ect.

It's either with Yura of the Demon Hair, or it's with Kankotsu, but anywasy great pic.
