i agree with forlorn hope just alittle. But like you said it was experimental ; D

they look like they're faking it. like... they're not actually moving. try different poses to imply momentum. (and work on their grip on the weapons)

i think it looks pretty cool. just to be helpful i think you might want to work on the face profiles though. please don't take that personally, i'm just saying that to help.
