this makes a lot of sense since were manatees th inspiration for the modern half fish version of the mermaid. at thins point thou i would argue that mermaids are Monotremata like platypus. They hatch eggs (because you know, no holes to exit there) and then breastfeed. I think that would bethe most logical "realistic" explanation for mermaids
I think it's great that you're so good at drawing different body types. I'm trying to do that too.
As for the mermaids, I understand where you're coming from. My thoughts are a little different. I think mermaids are manatees, which are sea mammals, and therefore can have breasts. Still, it's kind of silly to have a debate on what mermaids are. After all, they're mythological creatures.
