Ok first thing she made me think of was the urban legend of black eyed children! It gave me a little chill looking at her and thinking of that considering how besides her eyes she has a very innocent appearance!
She is actually a bit manipulative to others considering she's over a thousand years old. She also hunts by pretending to be lost or hurt in dark, isolated places. Even though the cure for sunlight was discovered, she stays nocturnal because she can't hide her eyes.
