The paper I used for this drawing was Deleter comic paper, but I think using Canson comic paper is better for alcohol based markers.
I don't think I have tried Bristol board yet, but I'll see if I try it some time.
I do like the careful use of white + highlights throughout the piece. You've got me curious about the sort of paper used here. < m< (i'm afraid to use markers on nothing but Bristol board!)
Thanks Keba! No he doesn't really tie into anything. I did several rough sketches of him in a sketch book, although I have some ideas for him, I don't think I'll be able execute them since I'm so tired from work. I don't draw as much as I use to. :(
