I'm glad that you like both the versions.. I hope you don't mind that I've made this too, but since I tried to show the light of the lanterns with the shading, it made me so angry that it wasn't visible in the other version :( watercolors and scanner are a bad bad combo for me.
Ah, well, the original just looked very vibrant to me. Now, don't get me wrong, I liked the vibrant factor, it was very eye-catching.
Here, it's neat too to see the missing colors too. So, in all, each rendition (after enduring the atrocities of a scanner- I hate them too; little electronic blocks of grr! > ,>) has its own somethin'-somethin' about it (even if one feels more accurate to you than the other).
