I used imagination, I was just scribbling at work when I came up with a shape and position that seemed ok, practiced a bit with the proportions with reference to depth and distance (The head is obviously gonna be bigger since it's closest to the viewer). I still have some concerns about the hands and some elements but those are details a naked eye doesn't notice.
