    I separate layers by different steps. First layer's for the base color, second layer's for the first shading, then the third layer's for the darker shading. I mean, you can do it by color if that helps you organize it better. This is how I do it. -Nana

    Ummm IDK how I could give any advice, but it's basically layers. Layers are key. I usually have my base layer (line art) under the main color layer, 1st shadow layer, then 2nd shadow layer. When I'm done, I add lighting, background, and other effects, then combine all of the layers to add finishing adjustments. Did that help? -Nana
