Yeah I've not got Windows 8, but I have heard some people are having problems with it, or just don't like how it works. I think I'd probably feel the same way. I just hope my laptop doesn't die for a while yet...
I was comparing my old digital art on my other monitor and they look super off xDD Haha, I was thinking of getting a Mac if I get a new laptop. I really don't like Windows 8 :(
My laptop screen is a little more unsaturated, so I can't tell how vibrant my colors will be. D: Which kind of sucks cuz I really want to use more vibrant colors in my art xD

Ugh, I know what you mean about monitor colors. They're all so different, I'm always paranoid that my stuff looks terrible on other people's computers >.< All of your artwork has looked fine to me! ^^
