Well, the layer settings make sense. I use Corel Painter Essentials, which doesn't seem to have a luminosity setting lol. I've been recommended SAI many times, but I can't be bothered with new hotkeys XD
Thanks! I used different layer settings for the glow effect. I think I set one on overlay, and another on luminosity. I'm using SAI, which seems to do things differently than photoshop, at least as far as the luminosity layer is concerned. It wasn't a special brush though, I just drew lots of dots and squiggles ^^

Ohh, look at him! You did a great job on the colors! Everything looks accurate to me ^^ The magic is beautiful – prettiest curse I’ve ever seen, hehe XD I love it!! And the background is basically a mix of all my favorite colors :D
