Have you tried a the neutral grey paper that they use for conte crayons for coloring yet? The texture of the paper will hold the pencil marks very well. Try a shallower pencil sharpener that they use for the points on golf pencils- I have had less breakage on my soft lead colored pencils.
Thank you! it was fun drawing on the card stock! ah yes! the lead was breaking to much it was annoying, which is why I switched to markers, but it was fun using them again! XD

So nice! I love how vibrant the colors are, and it turned out really awesome over the brown card stock ^-^
(Ohh, I hate it when the lead breaks too >.< I used to use colored pencils a lot, and it drove me crazy XD)
Ahhhhh she's sooo pretty Toya!! I think this turned out great for an experiment!! :D I really like the colors and her hair!! :D The blocks add the perfect abstract touch!! XD I must see more!! QuQ pressure... >:D Jk.

Thank you! I had to switch between hard lead pencils for details and soft lead pencils for the coloring. I also had to edit a little ps.
