Given the hygiene regimen of the time, a lot of weird stuff could get into those wigs and nothing would be done. Love the dress; makes me think of the movie 'The Slipper and the Rose'.

Oh, this is a coincidence.... I've been doing research on the evolution of European fashion and spent a crazy time studying this era.
The drawing looks pretty good! Nice job with the details [that that time period so famously encompassed].

i heard that this type hairdo is reason we have that urban myth you know one about the lady with bugs in her beehive (that is all so a hairdo)
