I don't really have a problem with coloring in Manga Studio, although I heard that it was really hard to do in previous versions. What I'm more concerned with is my technique.

I see, I'm not sure if manga studio has a blur tool? that could help smooth out some of the rough coloring? changing to smoother brushes can also help, like an air brush or water color brush?
also going from darker color to light colors helps too.

This looks really nice! I like the pose of both of them. and I like the blonde guy's grin! XD
ah I'm not sure how to shade in manga studio, I find that program a little hard to figure out.
You can try program Paint tool Sai, it makes drawing and coloring really easy, or Firealpaca which is similar to sai.

Manga studio is really good for line art but not so much for paint I like sai but gimp also works and its free
