    ya it the softer leads (hard to take care of if you drop them the lead breaks on the inside and so it breaks when you sharpen it!) are easier to blend and less streaking Of course crayola can be used too. try the circular motion it works wonders

    thanks! I've been using crayola pencil crayons (cheap but a good variety in a single pack and available everywhere) maybe I should try something else.

    Well i used a picture from the internet, sketched it out with pencil used prisma colored pencils (expensive but worth it!!) and then a pen to accent and highlight it. Its just all about blending. I find that when i use colored pencils or crayons i use a circular motion as i draw. It reduces the amount of streaking.

    Question #1: Did you use your own pose or a picture?
    Question #2: How did you do that with pencil crayons?
    All of my coloured art is done in pencil crayons and they never turn out looking that good.

    The accents in the shading are great, especially in the hat and sleeves.
