I actually just recently started using a bunch of different pencils for the shading. Before I would only use 4H, 2H, HB and sometimes B or 2B for shading. I used 8B, B and 5B for the really dark areas and used the cotton swabs and cotton ball to blend it. I used 4B, 5B and a little 8B for the blood then blended it the same. For the hair I shaded with 4B and lightly with 5B so I could blend it easily then earased it to the shade I wanted. For the eye, mouth and tongue I used B, 2B, 4B, 5B and 8B. For the outlining I used 5B and 4B.

Aww this is very good^^ I love the shading you used^^ I always used to draw and shade with HB, F, 4H, 3H and all the B's But 7B and 8B is to dark and soft I liked the H grey pencils more becuase they have harder points and shade better..Keep up the good work my friend
