Yeah, chalk pastels are really a bother. xD It's good that you gave them a shot! The outcome looks pretty neat. :D

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than what i can do.. i struggle with acrylic paint... and colored pencils .... and digital... ya just give me a pencil or pen and i'm good ha ha but ya thumbs up for doing as well as you did

chalk pastels is a vary hard medium i think you did well with them i really like the flower detail!
