I don't think the blades are long enough to stab him the feet.
I was thinking his expression fit more along the lines of 'I will not let you pass ze magic circle even if it means my death . . .' but that's just me. I like the 'stabbing the feet' thought as well XD
As always some pretty awesome detailing work. I personally like the chains, but I guess only the artist knows when they're copping out on something lol
I really like the helmet and how it only shows part of his face and then the fabric which gives it a nice 'tie-together' piece.
Also I liked the 'steamy misty look' at the bottom. It kinda made me think of a steampunk world with combined technology and armor that puts off a lot of steam and stuff ^^b But I'm going to guess that you just didn't know how to end the bottom and made it wibbly? XD
