Good to hear, it's been ages since I used water colored pencils. I have a few drawings to do but perhaps I'll try it out again :P
Yes the two color shades in the face looks good ^^
His face has a lighter and darker shade because I was going for a five o'clock shadow sort of look. And yep, its leftover pencil lines! I liked the scratchy effect they had so i kept them.
Looks great! I'm loving the leaves, hair and strong jaw. His lower eyelashes are a bit too feminine in my taste. Amazing coloring! Are the black lines pencil? And did you remove the color around his face later or didn't color it from the start? :3
