Top left corner fairly small = not a bad idea. xD I tend to start the head in the middle top of the page, but just low enough that the feet or calves get cut off when I start drawing the body. "orz

Ugh, I hate it when that happens...when you draw bigger than the page and it gets cut off. This is why I always draw in the middle! :D Nah, I'm just kidding, I usually draw in the top left corner fairly small...'orz
This is when boxing your drawing is probably a good idea...and when cropping is your best friend! XD
