You know I've noticed that thing about purple too - Shockwave is bright purple, so it makes a total of four main baddies - but I was a little bit hesitant with Soundwave, on some pics he looks purple but on others a sort of dark blue, maybe he's just obsessed with getting new paintjobs... (=7=)

And it took me awhile to figure out that the 'seeker' you talked about was the missile on his forearm. It was that moment of Oooooooh. *is shot*

That dark purple on Soundwave definitely brought out the bad feel. Now that I look that's two main bad guys with purpose markings. Who knew that purple was the new color of evil? o_O
