Well, it's supposed to be more comedy than action based, so definitely a lot of character interaction (though, technically, fighting could be called "interaction").
Well, it certainly fits, given the series was done in an anime style already :D

Definitely reminds me of the 2003 cartoon (glad to hear they're kind of bringing it back next year :D); it's got the anime-meets-DC look to it. Maybe Robin's angry because someone slicked down his hair? XD
And maybe it's the splatters, but I'm thinking of something like the Watchmen logo (but I never got into that series).
