    Ah yes, that makes sense! Tempera is just another standard type of paint, nothing fancy there. Acrylic makes more sense here - acrylic is a bit more plasticy and and generally has more volume (and you can end up with a lot of shine). Temperas might be a little flatter. It's always nice to experiment with different media, though! Either way, I definitely like this image!

    This is simply acrylic paint, so it's probably not as impressive as you were hoping. I have never before used tempera, but I feel that I should after reading up on it. The glow that you see is actually how the picture came out after being captured by the photographer in my art class. At first I didn't like it because it really blurs the borders of the horns, but after reading this comment I actually feel better about it. I really appreciate the compliment; thank you very much.

    My, is this tempera paint? This is such a dramatic image - it really does have that weight to it. The Horns and eyes almost seem to glow, when set against that background, and the overall effect is frightening... well done.
