I know what you mean! Before I met toyotami kun here on theO, I barely did any backgrounds at all... She encouraged me to cover my paper with more colour xD It doesn't have to be detailed though, especially if the focus is on the character instead! So keep it up :)
oh thanks! trying to draw detailed backgrounds is something that has bothering me for some time and most of the time i don't really plan for them that's why i don't usually add them.

i'll draw any character with any hair color any day so don't be alarmed if you see the same thing over and over again.i hope you're aware that i have drawn other female characters whose hair color isn't pink.

Hey, nice work! I love the colours, I remember playing this video game too... I think u really did well on drawing the princess! And its really awesome that you're adding backgrounds more often... don't worry about making them detailed, it turned out nicely! Keep it up!
