I've never read this manga before, but you've definitely given me some interest in it! :o The character is definitely adorable and from your description, we can all see exactly why you'd look up to her as an inspirational character! Lovely colors, and I wish you the best of luck for your entry in the contest! No matter the results, I'm sure we could all feel your admiration for the character, which I believe was your main objective of the art in the first place. :) What I mean is, WONDERFUL JOB!
Also, I love all the little flowers you drew and your coloring/drawing style as well. :)

I do love this ^^ yellow is my favorite color! I love the glowy effect at the bottom :)
