I'm glad you like the pose - that was kind of my main focus for this image! That - and I wanted to have some nice tactile brushwork in the cape... I do love ink & brush.
Oh, I forgot to leave a comment on this yesterday! I was wondering if you were aware of Tim Sale? The coloring here reminds me of his watercolor covers for the Daredevil: Yellow comic. If you haven't seen that work, check it out. I think it's great work. Your own creation here, to me, sits comfortably along side that style. Very nice!
Thanks for the warm welcome back, appreciate it! It's good to actually have something to post... I've been very busy with other things - you know, packing, sitting around in the summer sun, drawing for my ongoing project (drawings of musicians), and work - takes up a lot of my energy!

This looks great. You did a nice job with his anatomy and the pose is so cool. I love Batman, by the way. I grew up watching the cartoons and movies, and I've read a little of the comics. I'd like to read more of the comics if I can find them.
