So, he divided people who draw to:
-Gods (only a few of his favourite mangakas are in this category)
-Demigods (people who draw really good,like a guy from his class I'm jealous)
-Talented people (I fit into this category xD)
-Mortals
I could maybe do that, but I'm really bad at anything digital ^^ ;
Aw, but I meant to try to color it digitally and to practice on that. :) But even like this it is still good and sometimes it is for the best to just try to work on a certain style.^^
Why wouldn't he like it? Everything that is done for someone is already generous to see, so I am sure that he did like it. :)
Not saying that this is bad looking, just talking about gifts in general. xD This is of course a fantastic drawing! :D Have you had in mind to try and color it?^^ I ask because it looks like a good image for you to practice a little if you ever want to. :3

When I drew Naruto characters back in the day, I think Shikamaru was one of the hardest to draw...something about his face. XD
I'm sure your friend will love it for his birthday! :D
