I would've tried to find some way to digitally do it. I don't know what program you use, but using Multiply on a layer that's for the shading can help. I hope it really was helpful/thoughtful. Of course, I don't know much about coloring myself, so you can ignore me.

The pose is so dynamic! And her hair makes it even more terrific. I love that the pokeball is just hovering below her palm :3 She looks ready to fight and kick some ass!! :D

I think it's funny how sometimes you think you haven't changed, but it takes a friend or two to realize that you really have changed...a lot!

The scenery looks great! I like the pose too; it's actiony. Her colors seem to match Well with the bg, so nice work! Her shoe looks kinda flat so maybe make the shadow more prominent? Other than that, good job
