Hmm would it make you happier if I called them trainers based of the starters? the more I drew this guy the more i thought he looked like a trainer rather then a pokemon. so he could be the Bulbasaur Trainer... and I'll draw the Charmander Trainer next... I think I'll rename it.

I could be wrong but I wouldn't really call this a...Gijinka. I might have what a Gijinka is wrong but I thought it was a humanized version with some traits left from it's animal form. Such as an actual bulb or vines coming from it's back. Stuff like that. I mean I could be wrong. Whether it fits the term or not you still did I great job! 8D
