BASIL~! I'm not gonna lie, when I saw the title, I thought of Basil in Harvest Moon Magical Melody.
This is so clever! I really like the design and overall feel of the picture. And the patterns on his clothing is so pretty *A* Good job, and g'luck in the challenge!

The hair was designed off of the leaves! XD And I'm glad the...I dunno what it is, cloth draped over his shoulders looked like leaves, too...I didn't really know what to do with it, but from the pics of Indian Kings/Princes they all had a sash thing...O.o;
Some of it I knew, the but I didn't know where it was from...O.o;
Ah, he looks cool! :D This is an interesting challenge. ;o Gijinka challenges are fun.
I think you really captured the basil-y feel well. xD The scarf of his reminds me of the leaves. Actually, his hair reminds me of basil leaves the most. :D The Indian influence in this picture is also cool. :D Did you research basil for this challenge, or did you know this off-hand?
