I had to learn stipple in art. I have a love/hate relationship with it. Haha! I stipple doodle sometimes during class alot too. ;D

P.S. Have you ever heard of the song "Party Rock Anthem" by LMFAO? My friends and I made up a parody of it and it goes like "Everyday I'm Stipplin'!" LOL.
It's easier than you'd think to stipple. Time consuming, yes. Annoying to people around you thanks to the tap tap tap tap tap, yes. but pretty simple in practice.
BRILLIANT!!! It's such a cute dragon! Very well worth the effort :DDD It looks like it would be super hard, I'd probably get tired really fast xD Well done, my friend!!
yes patience is important for that. I had a homework assignment where we had to do stipple and I was so annoyed! XD
You're lucky you got away with it, I would be asked to stop even if it's just sketching? XD
hahaha, yeah if you're going to stipple, patience is definitely the key. I usually get into a weird, zombie-trance after a minute or two where I just stare blankly at the paper while the sound of a pen slamming against a sketchpad echos through the room.
...thus why stippling is not the best style to be done during class. (Still didn't get yelled at though XD I could get away with anything in that one class. )

well, no. I have some really dark pencils and crayon is surprising good as a medium too, but Pen just has a nice, crisp, clean look to it.

Aww, he's so cute =3 I want him~ X3
Also, awesome control with the stippling =3 it really does take patience. Or a softer medium, like an 8B pencil or maybe paint? hehe

this looks cool! XD I like how you detailed this is with just dots. I've tried doing that technique before but I never had the patience for it.
